With Embry heading south without so much as a last goodbye, Kuo starts to doubt his feelings for his Mage once again. And then there’s Berinn who still blames Kuo for his own failures.
The emotional battles just won’t stop. Missing somebody with an aching heart might be worse than not caring at all.
